Data Deletion Instructions

At STELLAR BYTE TECHNOLOGY CORP, we respect your right to control your personal data. This page explains how you can request deletion of data associated with your use of our services, including data collected through our Facebook/Meta integrations.

What Data We Collect

When you use StellarByte services with Facebook Login or connect social media accounts, we may collect:

• Basic profile information (name, email address)
• Social media account access tokens
• Content you create or schedule through our platform
• Usage analytics and service logs

How to Delete Your Data

You have three options to delete your data from our systems:

Option 1: Through Our Application

1. Log in to your StellarByte account at app.stellarbyte.ca
2. Navigate to Settings → Account
3. Click Disconnect for any connected social media accounts
4. To delete your entire account, contact us using Option 3 below

Note: Account deletion feature is currently being implemented and will be available soon.

Option 2: Through Facebook Settings

1. Go to your Facebook Settings & Privacy
2. Click Settings
3. Navigate to Apps and Websites
4. Find StellarByte in the list
5. Click Remove to revoke access and delete associated data

When you remove our app through Facebook, we will automatically stop accessing your Facebook data. However, some data may remain in our systems for a limited retention period.

Option 3: Email Request

You can request data deletion by emailing us at:

Subject Line: Data Deletion Request

Required Information:

• Your full name
• Email address associated with your StellarByte account
• Facebook account email (if different)
• Specific platforms or data you want deleted

We will process your request within 30 days and send you a confirmation email once completed.

What Happens After Deletion

Once your data deletion request is processed:

• Your account access will be revoked
• All personal information will be permanently deleted
• Connected social media tokens will be invalidated
• Scheduled posts and content will be removed
• Analytics data will be anonymized

Data Retention

Please note:

• Some data may be retained for legal compliance (e.g., billing records, audit logs)
• Anonymized usage statistics may be retained for service improvement
• Backup systems may retain data for up to 90 days before permanent deletion
• Public posts already published to social media platforms remain on those platforms
